Terms and Conditions
Please note, there is a minimum booking fee of $50 for photoshoots, custom images, and/or product photography. For larger services, the amount of the booking fee may increase to 10%. A booking fee is also required for photography lessons. The booking fee will be applied to the overall cost of the service. If service is canceled less than one week from date, the booking fee is forfeited and will be retained as the cancelation fee. Client may reschedule once, but cannot reschedule less than one week from date of booking. Service is not secured until availability is confirmed by Blu Alys and booking fee is received. Final invoice will include sales tax and will be sent via email.
If props are desired for product photography and Blu Alys (owner/photographer) needs to purchase them to complete the photo shoot, additional cost(s) will be added to invoice. Products must be delivered to owner/photographer for product photography unless a local location can be agreed upon.
Booking fee is due immediately; balance is due the day of the photo session or the day before the event.
Images purchased through Blu Alys can be reproduced for the purpose of self use and/or self promotion publications which can include but is not limited to books, cards, calendars, invitations and websites. This agreement does not include the resale or mass production of images for profit without previous written consent of the copyright owner/photographer and compensation to the copyright owner/photographer.
Images above the package amount are $10 each. Families, 6 persons or more - may have an additional cost of $5/person. If additional location is requested, travel fee may be discussed. If extras added, invoice will be updated to reflect final cost.
Turnaround time to present samples and/or final images to the client is at least 2-3 weeks from date of photo session or 2-4 weeks from date of event.
Client agrees that photos taken may be used in Blu Alys Photography marketing materials and published at least 4 weeks from the date of photoshoot or 6 weeks from date of event.
Client has 3 weeks to select images from the time sample images are made available. If images are not selected within 3 weeks, photographer/owner will choose the package images and electronically deliver. Images will be held for 6 months. If photos are time-sensitive, an expedited fee may be discussed. Thank you.
